Learning how to use the weed whacker and lawn mower so I can earn money and not have to leave our property. Once I get better and convince my parents, I will probably mow other people's lawns.

Dad was just diagnosed with esophageal Cancer Friday morning. Currently waiting for pathology reports and CT scan early next week. Last time I was at the hospital was with my Stepfather who was also diagnosed with Cancer as he took his last breath. I was there for the diagnosis and for his passing and I really do not want to go through it again so I’m super stressed and terrified that it’s going to be the worst case scenario once again but praying that it was caught early enough that he will make it.

I've joined a new friend group in the past year and there's quite a lot of people. I really enjoy spending time with them but now I'm worried about losing them all when we start college. Everyone is definitely going to start making new friends which is fine it's just that I don't want to see people fade away. This is the first time I've actually felt alive, sociable and comfortable around people. I'll also make new friends but I really just want things to stay as they are. Everything is going great and there's no drama or conflict going on in this group. It's so relaxing conpared to the old group I was in.

I spent two hours cutting grass with with a scythe because the edges of the place are so overgrown that a lawnmower couldn't get rid of all the grass and other shit and the in sides of my thumbs are almost skinless. It hurts like hell but it feels good having actually done something, even if I didn't complete the work. Once I get my skin back, I'll finish it up, because now that I've gotten a relatively good hang of using this thing, I'm actually really enjoying it.

I live in the South Island of New Zealand. We're experiencing the worst flash flooding in over 100+ years after the worst drought in ages too. All the rivers are flooding banks, strongest bridges are collapsing, farmland under water in much of rural canterbury.. thousands are in danger. Hope all is well for everyone else and stay safe!
