I've played Steins;Gate and all, and know it could be dangerous, but I'd probably still do it. Don't even really have a plan on what I would do but the chance to time travel would be hard to resist tbh.

No, I think it's easier to learn from my mistakes rather than it is to build a fucking time machine, change my past, and then be happy that I didn't do what I was supposed to have been done. I want to mention that even though steins; gate portrays "changing the past" as something utterly chaotic and dangerous, I think the anime is a bit dramatic about it. It does make for a good story this way, but I don't think it would be that bad if I was to change something in my past. It would definitely be chaotic and unpredictable, but not necessarily bad. That being said, I wish I could build a time machine. It sounds like a cool project to work on.
