I'm an artist so losing the ability to see color would be super depressing for me, whereas losing the ability to taste and smell might just help me lose some weight 😂

@kstricl

I once did lose my sense of taste. Didn't enjoy it, but did survive it. I work in a print shop so losing the ability to see color would be a job ender.

Bit being able to see color would probably make me depressed...but not being able to taste my comfort foods when I’m depressed would probably end me

@bkzone8

That is way way way too tough. I know that even when we don't notice smells smells play a huge part in our lives, in assessing the world around us and in helping to evoke memory. Taste of the exact same way. We don't appreciate either one of them as much as we should so...

Second one. If I can't taste the difference between vegetables and chocolate, it might help in various ways

Seeing as I already dont see colour may aswell choose that and lose nothing lol.

@AmusementLabs

I'd say color since I can always use a camera or something to tell we what color something I'm looking at is. Plus color isn't 100% important. It would be rather depressing, but not much more than an inconvenience. Smell and taste are pretty important.

@Corpse-rat

We used to actually have a monochromatic color blind student in my art class and while it was a difficult barrier to overcome, they had some really stunning pieces; so I wouldn't mind a life in greys (considering I already watch plenty of movies that came out before color films).

Person: *picks to not see in colour* Rona: “how about both?”

@savitargod0fspeed290

Defenetly seeing colours is much more important. I am an electrician and mixing up the Blue wire with A Red, Black or a Brown one could cause some serious damage to a circuit.

I lost my sense of taste and smell for 3 or 4 weeks a while ago and I NEVER want to go through that again. It was kinda cool for the first couple days when I realized I could eat foods I normally hated without tasting them, but I quickly realized just how horrible it actually was and I cried every day when I woke up and still couldn’t taste anything. I SOBBED when I could finally start to taste stuff again because I was so relieved. I would much rather lose my vision or hearing than EVER go through all that ever again.

@orkurries

My sense of smell and taste still hasn’t returned after I got Covid but it’s not really that bad I got used to it.

I've lost sense of taste before, a piece of cheese feels absolutely disgusting if you don't taste anything. Also I'm in the food industry 😅

@Stylus02

As an artist I'd prefer to keep my ability to see color and as an extremely picky person I'd be absolutely fine with losing my sense of smell and taste, I could b eating so much healthier and keep my career xd

I can’t give up either😭😭😭 1: I like to draw(it’s the 1 thing that I can do) 2: if I give up taste and smell, that removes some of the joy in l

@TheBl4zinH4ckr

You don't need your eyes to see, you see with your heart and you judge with their personality. And taste is a form of art and smell is important cuz I don't trust myself near an oven.

Missing color would suck, but still livable. Look at all of the fantastic B&W photography out there.
