The Aladdin stage show that's genuinely 10x better than the official Broadway Aladdin stage show

The twist at the end means that Twisted very well could have been the actual story.

Arabian Nights is a pretty cool book of literal bedtime stories. I think one of the original stories of a fisherman finding a genie was to distract the genie from directing his rage at him by telling him a story he did not know about The Vizier. And then they bait and switch you on to that story and eventually the genie gets the corrupted officials instead-- but not before you hear a ton of other stories in between. edit: also, it's by a lake that it is found (the genie) and this is interestingly close to a story relating to Rudra's ceremony being cut short in a Veda. Shivas many forms also tend to have blue skin, sometimes red when formed with his wife to become Kali-- sometimes black (Kali is associated with fire and evil, as well)

I have never seen the original Aladdin, so twisted will always be the true and rights version to me.

Twisted is definitely Starkid’s best. Dylan’s performance as Jafar is just breathtaking, I need that man to win a tony asap

against anything disney says, I still hold this twisted up as the best iteration of Aladdin.

Disney: (makes unnecessary live-action remakes) Captain: this is all your fault, Jafar.

So glad to see so many Twisted fans outside of the comment section on Twisted.

Once you reach adulthood, you realize that the plot of all Disney cartoons are filled with plotholes and they hold together only due to nostalgia duct tape.

10,000 years in a tin can can give you such a crick in the neck.
