Hi Gary I hope you are all keeping well and happy new year to you all! I voted for all of the above, ultimately one day I'd like to get some land and then make some sort of living space by using some lorry containers and then have some animals and grow me own foods. The whole system is a joke, for instance nobody should be starving or homeless, too much money spent on wars and weapons its just stupid. Peace and Love to you all mate š

Not from the UK, but I started homesteading as a means to get incredible food at a CHEAP price. I have always been extremely interested in a Green lifestyle... Saving my GREEN. $$$ Happy New Year to all.

Iām 27 and have grown up on the outskirts of London, we was taught a load of nonsense at school and in life and not a single thing about anything you do in your homestead which is exactly what we should be learning. As iv come across this kind of stuff more and more in my adult life and get more and more conscious of the foods we eat etc iv found myself wanting to create my own life somewhere and do what your doing. I kept building a dream in my head over the last few years and then I come across your video yesterday from last summer doing a tour of your homestead and it was like watching my dream in real life š you should be so proud of what you and your family have created. I hope someday I can have something similar, lots of research is going to be done by me for the next few months/years. Take care

A lot of people are disillusioned with modern life. You are programmed to go to work to earn money to buy crap that is designed not to last so you can buy more of the same crap you didnt really need to start with.Smallholding is a simpler way of life, closer to nature. Its hard work with ups and downs but overall very rewarding. We've owned ours almost a year and I reckon it will be at least another couple of years before we're even partly self sufficient. Its a long process weaning yourself off the corporate titty š

Defo all of the above, I wish we could all live in a big tribe and help each other out

For all that and more. Sadly I am unable to grow anything here, but luckily many of my neighbours sell home grown fruit/veg/eggs/etc...so I support them and their efforts.

It's been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Sadly I've never been able to afford the land.
