it is a cookie I think. The Dutch roze koeken (pink cookies in english) are round cakes with pink icing over it. Gangmakers are round cakes with a layer of apricot jam and covered in chocolate. We say they are cookies. And there are many more.

If a cookie is made of cake... is it still considered a cookie? 🍪? 🍰?
I still don't have an answer to this but all I know is that both cakes and cookies are delicious treats so why choose? 🤪 I couldn't get enough of #downtowndoughto 's Valentine's Day themed cookies sooo I made them in GIANT cake form 🙂 (how else would I show my love 😍)
