Less than 60 minutes since the poll stations closed and already Labour politicians saying "nothing to do with me. I never thought Corbyn was right."

Im a remainer. I believe that the 1st referendum should have been acted on even though its not what I wanted. Im clearly not the only one. Im not happy that the country has turned even more blue, but I understand it. Better get more foodbanks ready.

Polls close and the fun begins. Looks like being a good night. The exit pollsters - MORI - have just said they're surprised by the apparent size of the Tory majority ... just like they were when Trump won ... just like the were when the Brexit referendum outcome was 'Leave' ...

I am a socialist and have never voted for Conservatives in my life until yesterday, and trust me that was not an easy choice. I am also a remainer I voted to stay in Europe so why did I vote for Boris. One reason, we had a referendum more than 3 years ago, the country voted to leave, we are a democratic country so every politician after that referendum should have got behind leave and help get the best deal not harp on about leaving was bad, OK its bad for the country but the country decided to leave. Dont give the people a choice then ignore them,. I voted for Boris so the will of the people will be carried out. I will not vote for the conservatives again. I did not want to leave but accept the majority vote that is how it works otherwise democracy is broken.

If the exit poll is right then it is the best possible result. I am so excited to see what Boris can do. He is ambitious and want the country great again. Nothing wrong with that and about time we had someone who was not afraid to dream big. Yes Jeremy did but his ideas are damaging and deluded. That is what is wrong with communist socialism. Ideal but inevitably will lead to disaster.
