@marthos32mp

1. Remove random bullet spread 2. Remove random crits 3. Fix autobalance (idk how) 4. Maybe add "join games in progress" button to prevent joining and instantly losing 5. Add time limit to ctf

@pandagrain-op

1. Balanced with levels and tiers, also mix of bad players and good players on a single team 2. Make autobalance that it asks only the top three ppl on the team to switch, if they decline then it forces some of the low players to switch teams. 3. Make rewards for casual like everytime you reach a tier you get.

@junux7465

1. Fix autobalance 2. Fix Map voting system 3. Add an endorsement system (Reward people for being nice) 4. Make it so you play against similar skill group

1. Implement a system where you are paired with players with the same or slightly lower or higher casual level. (However this might encourage alt-accounts with the sole purpose of pub-stomping) 2. Alter the auto balance system to allow players to set an option to say to the computer “Hey! It is ok to auto balance me” and when auto balance is needed prompt players with a pop up whether they want to be auto-balanced or not. If they say no repeat this process until someone says yes. 3. Remove random critical hits, add a fixed bullet spread for shotguns and other weapons of that caliber. (Make it so rdm crits and rdm bullet spread can be enabled in community servers) 4. This is an all around game improvement but make the quality of life options the default settings (Fov should be 90 not 75 for example) 5. Re add spectate mode but keep the way it is now with changing teams (You can’t unless auto balance prompts you) I believe this won’t fix all the problems casual mode has BUT it is a step in the right direction for most people’s opinion

Most of the stuff I want from casual I've just accepted will most likely not be fixed soon if ever. But that isn't saying that some quality of life changes won't be accepted with open arms.

Honestly it's great fun with friends. Hackers are rare, and don't affect the experience too much, and if someone in the party gets autobalanced, we just requeue.

@SirGoldalot

I would only add one thing... the ability to create a 12 man party, it might make it unfun if 12 platinum ugh players queu up together but this disadvantage would be far out weighed but the 12 fat scout teams and the 12 man medic chains... it would be so much fun to play as and against

@SuperDuperSeb

Revert it to the old autobalance system where you didn't get balanced to the losing team with 5 seconds left on the timer.

@bounty245

1. Remove random crits 2. Remove random bullet spread 3. Bring back old autobalance (autobalancing only dead people) or remove it and instead add some rewards for staying to the end of a match (e.g. items will only drop at the end of the match and only on official servers, winning team will have slightly better drop, add info at the beginning of the match that you'll be rewarded if you stay to the end) 4. Add option to join games, that didn't start yet 5. fix party bug with 6th player and prevent autobalancing party members 6. add player balance by casual tiers

@Awsome2464

My only real complaint is team skill balance. It always seems like we get one team of expert, pro players, and one team of not-so-pro, noob players. Seldom an in-between.

@lucioo1999

1-Autobalance sucks 2-Sometimes you join a game which is already ended 3-Random crits... Why? 4-Random bullet spread.... Why?

@fahmidhossain8922

Random crits,autobalancing while you still alive, but honestly the current cons aren't that bad

@ZyrusEclipse

1. Make it actually balanced first off 2. Don't put people into ending or losing games 3. Fix the fucking auto balance bullshit

@pilkkimies

1.Auto balance removed 2.Balaced from start 3.Voting from next map needs a little change

1. Bridge the gap between Casual and Comp a). AT LEAST create an option to vote on random crits for the given game (vote resets with every map change); Valve could even track the pick-rate of the option, and make an executive decision based on vote data b). Implement Fixed Bullet-Spread: accuracy should be rewarded, even in Casual 2. Rework Auto-Balance: there isn't really an easy way to suggest how to do this. There will always be people who ragequit after a poor round. There will always be people who randomly lose connection. Added XP is a step in the right direction, but the incentives should be much, much higher a). Significantly Increase the Amount of XP Gained For Being Switched: badge level in Casual doesn't mean much more than time played, but I would be lying if I said the sight of seeing my level-bar shoot up several levels after a good match didn't influence my desire to queue for another round b). Instead of increased XP, maybe something similar to a Smissmas Stocking could be given out: less loot to be sure, but maybe add the same chances at an unusual when unboxing a crate c). Rework Vote Prompt: when the teams are unbalanced at the end of a round, give an on-screen prompt to players that asks if they wish to a). balance the teams to continue the next round, or b). end the map prematurely and queue for another Casual match. It's not a prefect solution, but I feel like a prompt that brings the imbalance to everyone's attention (on top of the increased incentivization to switch) would sway players either way (depending on how they feel), and queueing for another match is better than being forced to wait for new players and/or play an unfairly peopled round 3. Rework How Players of Differing Skill-Levels Are Matched In Casual: it's endlessly frustrating to be put on a team with newbies, especially against a team who have a party of skilled players, and vice versa. Again, there most likely isn't an easy/straightforward way of doing this. Although playtime shows dedication, it's not always reliable in terms of gauging skill. I don't have a concrete solution for how Matchmaking could be improved, but gauging playtime (imo) is a place to start. Again, it's not always an accurate measurement of skill, but there's probably a way to categorize matches based on, say, someone with over 100 hours, over 1000 hours, and someone who installed TF2 ten minutes ago

@Noah-rm1ir

70% games I play are unbalanced

6 years ago | 9

@Mixomin

1. Joining (practically) finished games 2. Unbalanced teams 3. Random crits 4. Random bullet spread 5. No way to spectator players for more than 20 seconds to find out if someone is a hacker or genuinely skilled at the game

@icicleditor

I’d personally add in Stopwatch mode, remove random Crits, and prevent players from being matched into ending games.

@connorthompson66

I would like to have the removal of Auto balance while you're still alive. As a Medic main, it's super frustrating when you're at 80% Ubercharge, and you get autobalanced when you're so close to pulling off an uber push. I think the same could go for Engineers, or anybody who is using a weapon such as the Bazaar Bargain, Buff Banner, or Eyelander where you have a snowball effect, and it just gets cut off mid life, through a mean that nobody can predict.

@gomgom9060

Honestly for me probably only the Autobalance and the ranking match. I'd like to see a more balanced match between an atleast similar rank players vs similar rank players. Autobalance should happen to the people who is really low,or in the mid (after dying) Auto-scramble (except for parties) might be cool for atleast after a round has ended.
