Listen bro, it all depends on the game. For example, if your doing an edit on Destiny/Destiny 2, you rarely want to do a voicover unless you have a sponsor or you are doing an informational video about how to get something done in the game. To each their own. But in my personal opinion I'd rather just go play a game myself than watch gameplay with no commentary. Unless it's some sort of montage or a short highlight.
