Thank you for saying this. I dont think people realize that artists are able to take inspiration without it being called "stealing"

I knew this would be your reaction. Your animations show such joy and love for the subject matter and craft that I knew you would be nothing but gracious about it.

Right i feel that. Been seeing a ton more animations in my recommendations after watching yours but im more a fan of the details you put into yours so its not like im going to watch theirs instead and leave you in the dust. Keep up the good work!

This is so awesome to see !! I love your animations but also love to see other artists inspired by them !! It's like people dont realize we all have to start somewhere, and being inspired by others is normal in the art community 😌

Thanks for being supportive, as an artist myself animation is extremely time consuming and isn’t something that can be a one-off project, You need to keep coming back to it. Your videos are great too btw!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all... and we all need more frenemies animations.

I am one of those creators who has created a frenemies animation, and without a doubt i was somewhat influenced to create one because i immensely enjoyed your work. it brought me joy to watch them, and so as an artist who has been drawing for years and has done an animation previously many months ago, i wanted to give it a shot. that being said, my style is completely different from yours, and i can say this with 100% confidence. but i wasn't surprised when i saw people commenting your name in my video, but i took it with peace and love. i just want to say thank you for making this community post. it breaks my heart, when ive spent days working on an animation, just to be told that i am inferior in every possible way to someone else and their work. I am by no means good. i am no where near your level, and im perfectly okay with that. I just dont want my hard, loving work, to be slammed on. Constructive criticism is a blessing, but hateful comments is a whole other thing. so thank you for making this public post. it gives me and hopefully other artists, hope.

Wow what a wonderful attitude you have! Your animations are my favorite from the ones I’ve seen but I love to see you supporting creators!

Yas!! I enjoy all of them and peoples comments made me feel bad. Y'all are phenomenally hard workers so that sucks! Big up frenemies creationcore

thank you for this statement there’s a difference from insirpation & plain on copying.

I only read the first 2 lines, but with peace & love, your right!! We have said a soft blow (on this page, never on thiers) but maybe that's not even ok.... OR is it? I doubt telling YOU that 'you're superior' is the problem (and has to feel good) but very mature & diplomatic of you to write those first 2 sentances!

Thank you for saying this! I saw some hateful comments on one video and it hurt my heart because I felt that they were just inspired by your work and frenemies. It was clear to me that they were sort of new to animation and making something that inspired them and it was cool to see. It was hurtful to see people accuse them of making "cheap rip offs". It's one thing to be inspired by something, and it's another to accuse a smaller creator of copying and stealing when it's obvious that their work isn't even as good (this is not an insult). I hope people keeping making art and making animations even if they aren't as good! I like that new animators are inspired by you! It means more animations of frenemies haha.

Hey y’all it’s come to my attention that other Frenemies animators are getting a lot of hate for making similar styled animations to mine and that really stinks- I think we should focus on building other creators up not tearing people down. I’m flattered that people are inspired and influenced by my work to make their own versions and put in the effort to make that happen- animation is hard and takes time!!!!
So I spose this is a PSA to support small creators and be good to other people✨
