What should I do if an indie game I'm trying to review is a stinker?

In the past I have skipped most bad reviews. They typically fare much worse and get poor like to dislike ratios. If the audience says they have value though, I'm willing to reconsider. In fact, a bad game is a better opportunity for writing in jokes than a good game is, so there may be an upside there.

it is a touchy subject, because you can encounter really bad tempered developers that can make your channel harm... but if you have something to say about a game, you should be able to express it

Be as objective as possible with your review. Some games are bad and being made by indie devs doesn't give them a free pass out of pity. But when a person who's opinion has a certain impact on the audience due to his popularity, it is important not to trash the game cause if you do, even the people who would end up enjoying it, now might be reluctant to even try it.
