How would Jun rate Rachel’s Japanese? ☺️

Hello Rachel and Jun! I would love to hear more about your plans as regards the garden, what veggies you'd like to grow, fruit trees etc. I know we had a glimpse of your ideas when you visited the plot, and you may be too preoccupied with getting the house done. But if you made plans already, I'd love to hear, or see a little drawing about the general layout, the system of gardening etc. If this is too early, then in a future video.🙂

For Rachel having lived in Japan for so long now is there anything that still culturally significantly different? Or are you mostly accustomed to everything now? Are there any differences in Japanese culture that you’ve noticed change over the last 10 years?

How is Rachel's curly hair journey going? What other countries would you both like to visit when/if the pandemic ends?

@megano6612

What is the timeline for your house so far? Like when would you expect to be able to move in, etc.

How is Pichi doing? Is she warmed up to you both or is she still more comfortable at a distance? 🐾

How do Japanese folks feel about the Olympics now that they're over. Watching them this year really melted my heart and made me happy, in spite of all the problems that plagued them. Did ordinary Japanese folks have this change of heart too, or are they still mostly upset about holding the Games against the will of the people amid the pandemic?

How's your Japanese? What do you find easiest (speaking, reading, writing?) and do you have a weak area? Do you still study/feel the need to? I assume having a Jun has been a massive help! :D

@kingani

do you guys normally speak english or japanese at home? i live in a bilingual family and my dad will forget a word in a language he’s speaking and switch languages constantly or the sentence will be half and half. when you guys are out together, does jun normally take the lead with speaking? when i visited my other home country, id always let my big brother take the lead with speaking bc it was easier for me since he knew the language better and i was afraid id say something wrong.

I would love any tips for handling mental health issues! I know Rachel has mentioned having anxiety before and I was just wondering her favorite strategies and coping mechanisms, how you guys stay so positive, etc. I would love Jun's input too 😊

Rachel, what are some of your absolute favorite things in Japan (things maybe you feel you couldn't live without) that we don't have in the U.S.? Jun, when did you start to cook and what inspired you to pursue cooking? ❤ Love your channel!!

If someone were to visit Japan and wanted to experience a traditional Japanese festival, which one would you recommend and why?

Is it possible to stack poki, haku and nagi on top of each other?

Might be fun for rachel to pick mystery ingredients (including mysterious powders aka spices) and jun has to make something with it on the fly XD or something like that, especially if its an American ingredient that rachel is familiar with but jun isnt. Lets see his instincts at work! Ranking of rachels favorite bugs in japan?

In a similar line to other questions I’ve seen - how has Rachel’s Japanese skill changed over time? Have you continued improving in every aspect (writing, speaking, etc.) while living in Japan?

@kate-ne

What part of the home building process has been most enjoyable for you guys, and what part of the process was the most surprising?
