Mike Jonas Econometrics

Now that all of the courses that I teach are going online, I'll be posting more "full lecture" videos in addition to the shorter Stata and R tutorials. Soon to be arranged and organized so you can easily follow the topics in the order they should be taught. Please let me know what you think, and which econometrics/Stata/R topics would be most helpful!

@9w6six

I'm a STATA beginner and I found your videos were easy to follow and to understand. Thank you

I've learned a lot from the previous videos, I think that it will be exciting to follow the new full lectures. For econometric topics, I would like to see in the future videos, if it possible, how the SURE estimators works and how\when to use this type of modeling, and how to implement it in Stata for example

I'd really appreciate some input on Tobit model assumptions and how to run diagnostics in Stata, as the little I've been able to dig up has been theory-heavy and lacking instruction in technical implementation. Especially assessing residuals after Tobit.

Sir, could you please arrange the playlists in order. Videos are not sorted topic-wise, which creates confusion.

Dear Pr. Michael Jonas. I would be grateful if you could demonstrate system GMM in stata from Blundell and Bond (1998) as implemented by Roodman (2009) . The command must be xtabond2. Thank you a lot for your extraordinary material!
