For villains as comic relief, Etemon. For villains as villains, Myotismon. Etemon's really fun to make fun of and watch, though he is also responsible for the first Leomon death. Quite the legacy for a dude who makes Tarzan noises while he swings on vines and talks like Elvis Presley. Myotismon, on the other hand, is genuinely scary. He's powerful enough that the Digidestined have several running fights with him over the course of the show, and he almost wins; his malice stuck around to influence the events of 02, even. Don't get me wrong, Devimon and the Dark Masters are good villains (albeit Devimon is prone to monologue too much), but Etemon is more fun and Myotismon feels more personable and deadly, given he's the one who goes to the real world.

I like metal seadramon he had the best design. He looks cool. I always remember him killing whamon. It's a cool death.

I liked the idea of a group of big bads with the Dark Masters, plus I liked how Piedmon seemed like a Digimon version of the Joker to me.

Myotismon was such a huge threat to the kids. Dont get me wrong the other villains were too but something about myotismon just breezing thru their attacks like it's nothing while he's enjoying himself was just top notch villainy

Myotismon, but for a strange reason. The concept of Dex-evolution is really cool and interesting. The anime never went into it, because its a kids show, but Myotismon went through dex-evolution when digivolving to venommyotismon.

Devimon because of his plot was the starting point for the digidestined to be in the digital world and I love the classic 1999 devimon and the new 2020 devimon

Myotismon, because he's iconic, he's powerful and defeated the Digidestined multiple times, he has a good personality, he is iconic and it gave a lasting impact to people.

Devimon while Good is outclassed by his Reboot Version whom I’d compare to Myotismon, my choice btw. He left the most impact, had the most victories against the digidestend, and was just overall terrifying which is the best way to write a “I want to take over/destroy the world” villain imo

Myotismon, since he invaded the human world and actually was really scary. The way he killed wizardmon, how he dealt with several perfect level digimon and at one time even sucked the blood out of a freaking human woman.

Tough choice, on one hand i would the dark masters because I love effective they were as antagonist. They were huge threat to the chosen, they varied in personality that made things interesting, and my favorite mugendramon was actively trying to kill his target as soon as possible not later. However I also love Myotismon for the same reasons, though I will probably go with the dark masters since a majority will likely go for him anyways.
