Congrats on finishing the Berlin marathon! I did two virtual races, one because the real one was cancelled and I had already signed up, and the other because it was for a good cause and the medal looks absolutely the best. The first was the Brisbane HM the second a 10K. In my opinion, you run the distance, you earn the medal. There's the Tokyo marathon coming up too in August. I'll sign up for the HM again since I'm not ready for full marathon. It's great to collect a few medals during training for the real event once they come back.
