The last “Price is Right” video I uploaded was over two years ago, and aside from one lone VHS recording of a show I have that I don’t believe is on YouTube, I don’t have any additional episodes in my collection to showcase on this channel, unfortunately.
With this in mind, I have a proposition to make...
Would you, my awesome(!) subscribers, object to this channel being taken in a totally different direction with new, completely original content being produced and uploaded?
I’m not into vlogging — there’s enough of that on this platform. Too much, quite frankly. If I were to venture off into the world of content creation (I’m already doing this in other areas, just not so much on YouTube), videos would be more focused on technology, as well drone flying/footage, and perhaps weather-related content, as those are my interests (I also have a really cool drone from DJI, which is a plus!).
It’s very difficult to build a following on YouTube, but we already have 3,000+ of you here, which is a tremendous start! And I think at least a few of you will like some of the ideas I have up my sleeves! It’s certainly not my intention to create boring content, that’s for sure!
As for the fate of the videos currently on this channel, obviously they can’t stay here, so I would create a new channel for them! Additionally, I may even go so far as to re-render some of them to a higher quality and frame rate (60fps as opposed to 30fps...although it’s not “true” 60fps) to better match the original broadcast quality, in addition to removing commercials (I’ve had lots of complaints about this on the HD MDS video I uploaded several years back...).
So that’s where things stand right now. Again, this is just an idea of mine, and who knows when it will come to fruition, if ever. But I would like some feedback! I can’t stress enough that I have no intentions of uploading additional TPiR episodes here, or any other game show, for that matter. So if you want to see new content moving forward, it’ll be whatever new content I come up with as opposed to what this channel has been about these past five years.
