Worth brown flurocarbon are great. Uke logic hard tension are absolutely awesome. You can buy on etsy or from The Ukulele Site in Hawaii.

On my Cedar topped Tenor I use Anuenue clear water string's which have a fairly low tension. I use Savarez Alliance R strings for my Mahogany backed, Spruce topped Super Concert which are a medium tension and I really love them. All are fluorocarbon.🎶😊

Martin fluorocarbon are really good, Freemont fluorocarbon as well (for a "brighter" and clearer sound)... If I want a more controlled nylon sound (good for recording) the bottom three strings of classical guitars work really great (the E string would be used for the G and A strings of the uke for reentrant tuning, but that D guitar string can be used perfectly as a low G for the uke); in this case, lots of guitars string brands work, I haven't tried one that doesn't

@markandaudge

I am using seaguar fluorocarbon fishing line. 35 40 50 60lb. Before this I was using worth clear or uke logic low tension. The fishing line is similar to worth clear.

@maldoc6517

Aquila Red on my solid mahogany and Anuenue Blackwater (FC) on my solid spruce top. (That’s after quite a lot of experimentation 😊)

@pinto_ukes8406

I Marco, after tried lots strings, now I have a ko'olau set with hight G and a Pepe Romero with flat low G, two Tenor Uke's because are very diferent sounds, if you play something with hight G most time the sound don't go to be good with low G, low G it is good for me for scales.
