I have a 10 gallon pretty heavily planted tank with a betta, 6 Amanos and 5 Bloody Mary. Oh, and 2 mystery snails. I am obsessed with my adorable little red shrimpies! I would love it if they eventually had babies, but with so few, I am not entirely sure I even have a male. This particular betta has been mild mannered, but after he goes I will probably only have shrimp. Don’t want to risk a different betta who may be more bloodthirsty 👀

I have a heavily planted Taiwan bee and Pygmy Corydora tank. I’m still getting a lot of shrimplets but I’m sure I’d get a lot more if I didn’t have the fish in there 🐟

Yes I've just recently added some shrimp in my 20 gallon, planted, guppy breeder. So far so good. Shrimp are growing. They won't be ready to breed for a few more weeks unfortunately.

In a 10gallon tank do I need to put hang in the back filter or it's okay to use sponge filter only?

Shrimp Life
Hello Shrimp people! Check out yesterday’s video if you haven’t already, it’s all about keeping fish and shrimp together. If your goal is breeding shrimp you definitely don’t want to put fish in with them. (Theres always a risk) However I know a lot of hobbyists want to keep a planted community tank.. I give tips discussing good choices so that your shrimp will be comfortable. Hope you shrimp people enjoy. Do any of you have planted fish and shrimp tanks?
