That shows you are paying for the diploma, not the education

It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to pay 50k for tuition at any school. Pay cash or don't bother.

Here in Germany we pay 130€ per semester to study and they will give it back this year because it was only online, even though it's the same material and the same exams passed... weird you guys are paying so much man

You pay so you can say, "I studied at Harvard / Yale / Brown. I have a Harvard / Princeton degree." Nobody will ask questions or doubt your qualifications. Almost every professor publishes his own books and they teach people the same in their courses. If you are an autoditact, you only need a list of things to learn for the subject. Literature recommendations as well as regular assignments every week to make sure you are making progress. You pay for the diploma. Nobody hides knowledge from you, go to the library. Browse databases for specialist literature. Fellow students can support each other if something is not understood.

I'm totally paying for the high level education, not for the diploma

If Harvard has a good USP it's worth every penny. Common knowledge is there only to be understood as common knowledge.

Harvard only costs 50k? Also it doesn't matter if the information comes from a persons voice or a computer speaker. Info is info.

Depending on the company you work for, they can offer you Harvard backed online classes for free... Don't fall for this crap.
