Adequate ASMR

Anyone know what causes the skips in this video? It wasn’t like this before I exported it from my editing software, PowerDirector Pro. This effect occurs seemingly at random in some of my newer videos and isn’t intentional.

Edit: Upon further thinking, I believe it has something to do with my editing software's automatic audio syncing. Let me know if you think otherwise.

I got no idea, but I'm gonna leave a comment to try and convince the almighty Algorithm to spread this.

I've found your problem! Simply. Uninstall powerdillfo pro, try wondershare or another program and it would probably work.

I use an entirely different software, and my content is primarily audio only. I actually had something similar happen to me not too long ago, I usually have someone check the audio for me before I officially post it. And in that one instance, she told me it "glitched out" randomly in the middle of the video I checked and it sounded exactly like it skipped a few seconds. I was 99% positive the skip wasn't there during the editing phase but I just assumed it was an error on my part and didn't think much of it. Fast forward now and here you are with a similar issue! Maybe it's just coincidence, but I wouldn't count out youtube being the source of the problem. I see this post is fairly recent, so perhaps others might say the samething happen? Just my 2 Cents. 🤔

I know I’m late but do you record with an iPhone? You may have what’s called a variable frame rate that can cause issues. Including audio and visual eventually desynching. In which case you’d need to “handbrake” your video.

Check frame rate? I try to keep mine close to 24fps. Camera and editing software. If it’s recorded in one and changed to another it can skip. Hope you figured it out 🙌

If the video file on your pc skips before uploading it, it could be caused either by the resolution of the video and the frame rate or by the tool that you're using to edit (plugin problems or a corrupted software) if it skips on here only, it could be due to exporting it here on Youtube, sometimes, exporting could damage the video. next time when something similar happens, try removing it and uploading it again to sort out the issue. that's just a hunch, I could be wrong good content btw Barkatis PS: if you face other video editing-related problems, feel free to hmu. Does your rendering framerate match the camera's recording framerate? https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/52419.page
