No, thank YOU! I'm part of many online bird forums and I'm always seeing people lament certain behaviors their birds do. I always feel so comfortable recommending your channel to them, and I LOVE that you have so many great behavior modification techniques that work. It's so wonderful to have access to advice from someone who clearly cares so much about birds and the wellbeing of animals in general. Every time I suggest your videos to someone, a couple weeks later they come back and tell me their bird has done a 180 and is so much happier. You're such an inspiration, and you've helped me finally figure out what I'd like to study in college- zoology so I can volunteer at local shelters, zoos, and sanctuaries and work toward my IATCB certification. You're a wonderful asset to the bird community, and you've improved the lives of so many birds. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into making these videos for us and for sharing Smokey and her lifestyle with the rest of us.

Happy New Year. I am a new subscriber and hope to welcome an African Grey as well as a dog onto my life and home soon. I am glad to have found this channel, great source of instruction and information. I have only one suggestion; organization. If you have some instruction on how I am supposed to go though your videos I am sorry I have not come across it yet. You have a lot of videos, which can intimate and confuse viewers. Just a suggestion: take the time to go through your videos and organize for easier navigation, create at least one playlist which is in the order you think would be best to learn, maybe others with specific topics like: before you get a bird, nutrition, behavior, training, etc.. Quick question: you or do you plan on doing any videos about the relationship between the furry and feathered friends?(kinda what the name led me to think the channel was about)

Hi. Happy late new year. I wanted to ask you or other experienced bird keepers about whether or not I should get a bird for myself. I’m fifteen and I live with an African grey in the house. It is bonded with my mom, but we have an ok relationship. It’s 5 years older than I so we never got to start a relationship when she was young. I wanted to purchase lilac crowned amazon parrot because I want to have a bird for myself. I’m not permanently set on anything at this moment, but I know I want a bird that will appreciate my presence and would be a little cuddly. A cockatoo is the ideal bird, but the time commitments seem difficult for me to reach as a student. I also would like a bird that is around that size. I’m currently using YouTube as my source of information, but once I find a bird, I’ll check more sources. If anyone has input for me, or can direct me somewhere, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much and have a great 2018
