Woodworking with DIY tools

Hi. How would you call the wooden frame that we install in a wall opening to hold a window?. I mean, we screw the hinges to the window and to that frame. How would you call that frame?

The frame IS the window frame. What you call the window is the sash.

It could be called brick molding. I'm not sure because of the way you have built the window sash and the frame that sits on the brick, together. It's hard to see what the wood looks like. Brick molding is contoured like any other molding, base molding door frame molding etc.
