I've been a long time listened to Royce, also became a fan when I first heard the song "Boom". He's always been super lyrical, and in these last few years, I've finally seen people give him the love that I've had for him for the last 20 years. He's been hitting bull's-eyes with records like Prune, and when he dropped Book of Ryan, he hit a master class of artistry few have achieved. To me, The Allegory continues his stratospheric level of lyricism and introduces his creativity as a producer. God bless you Royce. You're a one-man lyrical army. You deserve the nomination and the grammy. Regardless of whether you win it or not, I know you'll continue to inspire and push hip hop towards it's pinnacle.
