I have met many country music stars mainly from the 90s and early 2000s, all pretty much has-beens now. That's what I know, that's what I like. I can't even tell you who's popular now. Being home most of the time, especially since the pandemic, I have a lot of options to pass the time. Every once in a while, I will check my presets on my radio and one is a classic country music station. While I might hear a familiar song on the other stations, I am more likely to hear one on the classic station. Also, I have met several St. Louis Cardinals baseball players and coaches in the past on a few Photo Days at Busch Stadium. It has been quite a few years since I've been to one, but the first was in 2008. As for the players on that team, only 3 are still active or still want to be. Former first baseman Albert Pujols is still active, but with the Los Angeles Angels. Catcher Yadier Molina and starting pitcher Adam Wainwright are both currently free agents for the first time. The higher-ups of the organization should have had those two locked up with contracts by now. Their president of baseball operations said quite a while back that re-signing them would be a priority, but all they've done so far is sign a couple of guys to minor league contracts with invitations to Spring Training. UGH! There are a few other free agents from this team, including two-time Gold Glove-winning second baseman Kolten Wong. I know there is a possibility that the season might not start on time again, but there is a schedule already and based on that, there are only a few months left until Opening Day. They are running out of time as of right now. Get something significant done already! The drama of waiting is freaking me out!

I’ve met John Rhys-Davies before. He’s a really cool guy. I remember I was little and he hugged me for a picture and had trouble getting up. I hope to meet him again someday. He was awesome.
