Why's everyone whining about Afghanistan when there are plenty of countries in Africa that need to be democratized and made safe for the women and children.

Democratization = colonialism. Everyone is up on that learning curve now. We all know that women and children are endangered by the introduction of the British and American empires not vice versa. Somehow the extreme right wing fostered by them always result in woman-hating regimes, religious or otherwise. The misogyny comes from the empires and then later blamed on the locals. For instance, women's rights were severely curtailed by the Taliban and the Ayatollah's Islamization that the US supported/created to combat socialism/communism. Enough of this nonsense.
