The Crochet Architect

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

Wow! It's been 6 months already since I started my YouTube channel and there are over 1,000 of you who have subscribed to my channel! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! Crocheters are the best!!!

I have a TON of crochet videos that I'm planning to bring you in the coming weeks/months/years, if all goes according to plan. I couldn't do these videos without the help and support of my husband (he's the "technical guy" behind the cameras and the video editor - I'm just the "crochet talent"!). Thank you so much, honey (Jim)! You're the best!

To find out more about you, my subscribers, I have some crochet questions for you.

What kind of crochet videos would you like to see in the future?
What crochet techniques do you enjoy?
What crochet techniques would you like to learn?
Do you enjoy CALs (Crochet-A-Longs)?
Would you like to see me host some CALs on my YouTube channel?

Please let me know your answer(s) in the comments section below.

Thanks so much for your support. It's great to be able to share what I've learned about crochet with you and to learn from each other!

Happy crocheting to all of you. May God bless you with good health and keep you safe in 2021 (and beyond).

I’d like to see how to crochet names into your work and/or letters that look like puffy pipes (for lack of a better word). Your tutorial on the thermal stitch was fantastic. That’s my favorite stitch. My grandma taught me to crochet when I was 7 or 8-ish. I watching anyone crochet always brings back memories or her. She made matching ponchos for me and the “Doll or Dog of the moment”. I prefer sturdy stitches over fancy loopy projects that get a loop or hole caught on something. I learned doily’s from a co-worker years ago and now that’s a staple in baby packages or young girls gifts. I’d love to learn to put names or dates in the projects to personalize them. I have a baby blanket that has my sons name and DOB in the corner. I had pictures made for birth announcements with the corner of the blanket showing his name and DOB. A CAL would be fun with pictures at completion. Thank you for your videos and instructions. You’re making re-learning my crochet very enjoyable.

Hi Susan, thank you for your videos! I only just started crocheting, and I'm still experimenting and learning. My favourite videos are tutorials on how to make a piece from scratch, it's so fascinating to see how to turn a ball of yarn into a work of art 😍 I haven't heart of CALs yet, so I'd love to see that on your channel. Happy New Year, and stay safe
