Whatever. Their rewinds in recent years had consisted mostly of fake-ass, squeaky clean, corporate friendly PC youtubers, completely ignoring the people who made this site what it is. When PewDiePie vs T-Series wasn't even alluded to in the 2018 rewind, and instead they sat around a campfire talking about random Hollywood bullshit, I knew YouTube Rewind was beyond redemption.

I dont get why they need to use rewind to appeal to advertisers since the main audience of rewind is the average user,that most likely will follow some of the more controversial content creators. I do get why YouTube struggles making its platform family friendly but again, I don't get why rewind in specific.
