i cried the whole time and when he mentioned him attempting suicide, i started to literally ball and also when he said that he hasn’t told anyone about it, he looked like he was about to cry

jeez its been one hell of a day, dan came out which inspired me ti come out to my family. started off as a happy day then it went to crap

I’m so happy for him, I just didn’t know what to say. Coming out in general is difficult, I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to come out to an audience. It sorta helped me realize that I don’t need to come out any time soon. And that I don’t need to put myself in a box; while it definitely helps some people, he helped me realize that it’s not for everyone, and that’s ok :)
