I used to have an extra part-time job at an art gallery. Pretty awesome to be able to see the exhibits for free, although I would have to stare at them for hours on end. There was one conceptual art exhibit where there was a cabbage covered in about ten thousand layers of gesso paint. It was done in the 70's. Man did I ever want to push that damn thing off the display stand and crack it open!
