Hey, everyone. I shouldn't feel like having to make this post, but this needs to be said.
The decision to use the Premiere feature for FEE3 this year was mine alone and I felt it would be a nice way to help up the excitement of this event, celebrating the community's hard work and encouraging them to do better. However, I have noticed some have taken this opportunity to use it for the opposite effect - spreading negativity around at other people's expense. I've already seen it happen with a couple of projects, even some digs at myself, and I want to politely ask those involved to *stop* as we go forward.
FEE3 is supposed to be a good time where a sizable portion of the FE community can get together and have fun viewing the work of others. Criticism is fine and should be encouraged, it is a natural part of any community and one will never improve without it. When you start being negative just for the sake of it, you're ruining it for others as well as Arch and I who put a sizable effort into this event each year to make it a palatable experience for everyone. I really don't want to have to start policing comments in the live chat, but I will if this continues.
