Hey Quint, have you thought about trying to build a Kelvin generator with the water from your gutters? Having a micro turbine on one side and a kelvin generator on the other to compare would be amazing but I think it would be even cooler if you could make it possible to have both going at the same time though just one gutter! You just need to split the water evenly as it drops out of the gutter so the two open streams can be passed through pairs of copper rings before filling the pressure tube. There is also the idea of trying to figure out how to use the jet. I guess if you just need water to pass through two rings with slightly opposing charges you might be able to siphon some of the power from the generator to give the rings their initial charge and use the single jet outlet as half of a kelvin generator. I think you might want to test the half generator theory on a model before trying to build it though because I feel like if that would work then it would have been done already. Anyways, love to see anything you make!
