In all honesty I would spend like five hours doing the math and figuring out the perfect number of years to lose and then retire on the spot with enough money to last the remaining time.

Infinity minus ten is still infinity, so I think I’ll be fine.

I won't be dead in a year. My condition will probably take 10+ years to kill me, but it'll rob me of my mind before it kills me. No one can tell me when either one will occur. I'm not selling years, though I would have, if I didn't know what I know now. We all live till we die. We don't know when or how. I'm at the age where there's lots of things that could kill me before my mind is destroyed. So keep your million. I'm still in training to truly appreciate the sunsets I have left. And sunsets are fucking awesome in my part of the world.

One. Time is precious, but 1 million would be the difference between spending the rest of my life working and spending it doing whatever I want. That time spent working would accumulate to a lot more than one year in total.

I just saw my grandparents in the throes of dementia. I’d sell the years. I don’t want someone to have to take care of me while I suffer and waste away.

Everyone who chose "dude, id be dead in a year # yolo": This is fine

I'm disabled, I'd sell more than 10 and set my family up to have a good life for taking care of me.

I want to live everyday that God gives me. I would never sell anytime. I am blessed with much to Live for. Thank you Lord.

1 mil. It's more than enough for everything that I want in life lol.

See I could set my kids up for life or I could live all my remaining years being a loving mother to them...

None. There was an old Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode about this, it didn't end well..

I’d ask how many years I have and not live past 90. My family usually live till 100ish but is old and weak and constantly in pain so 10 years in exchange for 10 million is nothing but a blessing.

Depends on where we take the years from, if we take the following years I woul barely choose any, because you would skip time and that brings a lot of complications, if we take them from the end we would have no idea how many are available but definitely take more of them.

Wonder if this prorates. Can I sell 6 months and take $500k? That'd be enough for me

I'm depressed.... this is a bad question to ask me. I'd be dead before I could use the money but I'd donate it.

Darkfluff: “this button will take off one remaining year of your life-“ Me: *aggressively pressing* Darkfluff: “-and give you a million dollars each time you press it- MA’AM”

Do we get to know how many years we have left? If I was going to live to 125, I think I could skim 25 off that without regrets. If I was going to die at 90, I wouldn't mind losing 4 or so and being 86 when I pass. I think these are important questions in deciding. :)

I would sell enough to purchase the land on which my school stands, remodel the school, and set up a trust fund to ensure continued success and establish a legacy.

😈Let's play a fun game. You're offered 1 MILLION DOLLARS for each REMAINING year of YOUR LIFE you sell. How many would you sell?
