Neither both will die just like classic has because the content is too easy with all the years of knowledge people have now, I played vanilla for a year before TBC came out and loved it but classic was just faceroll they need to do something to make the content difficult. Just like most successful private servers increase the difficulty or have a seasonal reset otherwise they are just making a dead game again
