For some reason, Inkscape is ungodly heavy on my 2017 i7 MBP. It feels terrible to use. I am switching to Linux soon, so I'm not that bothered by it.

When it comes to GIMP, I see no difference between Windows and Mac OS versions. :)

Inkscape was slow and crashed a lot on my MacBook. I switched to running it on my PC and it’s much smoother.

I can't even install inkscape on my macbook because it thinks it's malware lol. I'm sure I could get around that if I tried hard enough but I like using it on my PC anyway.

Hey! Sometimes right click menu doesn't want to go away :) and document properties, the window just somehow could not be closed (inkscape)

I needed to install Quarz or Xquarz or something like that to use it on my mac mini, but after the latest iOS-update I can’t start inkscape at all. It crashes every time. I switched to Affiinity Designer, but this one sucks. It’s not so intuitive and smooth and easy to use as inkscape. ... ok, I think I am the problem, not the program. -.-‘

I don't use MacOS but a lot of my viewers do and they mention crashes and slowness all the time. Many switch to Affinity Designer because of that and say it's more stable.

On Inkscape, I have issues with getting the same textures (for the icons) as you have. I followed all your instructions, yet I can't find them.

I use a Mac version 10.13.6 and use Inscape 1.1 and have noticed on video tutorials by Ted Magaoay that he can open menus in places that I can't (see his letter R Logo Design video). He is using 1.1 but I don't know if it is a Mac. I have asked him twice about this but he does not answer my question. Does anybody know how this is done?

We haven't had any new decent tutorial since the video "How to create animated gifs..." ... I wonder why? Is it a lack of ideas for new stuff? I have been learning a lot from your tutos since I discovered the channel, but lately there's nothing new. Come on man, bring more creative stuff, we know you can!

Logos By Nick
To those of you who are Mac users: what problems do you run into when using Inkscape and GIMP on the Mac OS? Are there any advantages or disadvantages that you’ve noticed?
