I wish there would be a youtube alternative which would be more like YT back in 2010. Anyway GL with your stuff and a nice remaining 2019.

You should make a community post before you upload every video so we can use it as a comment section.

Oh no! YouTube is really killing itself. I hope the odds are ever in your favor because you make some really cool songs.

Actually I think you'll be fine with marking them as not for kids, since kids aren't the intended audience. That's the new rule. Your music is not aimed towards them, even if they can still watch em, so you're fine.

Make a community post for every video so we can comment on that if video comments are disabled

It seems like your music videos are kid friendly though so I don't think you will have much of a problem.

As long as you don't use any profanity it should be fine 'for kids'.

In my opinion i think YouTube should go bad to the 2015 youtube and the ftc should leave youtube alone as there is an aducate way google has to verified if someone is 13 or older

Maybe YouTube is trying to do something with the blatant advertising to kids and clickbait garbage. I hope subscribers at least get the notifications normally.

Hello people, hope you had a great Christmas and will have a Happy New Year aswell!
As of January 1st YouTube are making some changes in their rules, all videos will have to be set to either "for kids" or "not for kids". If you set this to "not for kids" and it's seen as wrong, it may be considered breaking the rules and it might result in having to pay a fine.
Since i'm still unsure what my remixes are seen as, i'm probably going to have to set all my videos to "for kids" to be on the safe side. Atleast for now, until hopefully the rules are more clear/changed.
This will apparently result in comments being disabled, the videos not being recommended anymore and they will no longer be showing up when you search for them. The channel will still be here, the songs will too, they will just be more "hidden" i suppose.
It seems to be a complicated change and i know many channels will have much bigger problems with this than me, but it's still a bit sad. Just wanted to let you all know if you should wonder why things are changing/disappearing.
Take care and thanks for being here!
