Tabletop Machine Shop

Announcement! I broke my dominant arm at work -- fortunately not machining and sadly no footage. I tripped on my dog's leash and went down like a G0 Z0. That said, i'm going to try continuing to make videos but I cant use machines and I shouldn't type or use a mouse with my right hand. Comment replies might be a bit late :(. Don't worry though, I'm already thinking up unnecessarily complicated solutions to trivial one-handed problems!

Oh dude that blows! Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch. I've never broken my arm but know the feeling of bone pain! Hopefully it wasn't a compound fracture!!!! Stop worrying about YouTube or work or machining....heal, focus on healing. I broke my collar bone in 6th grade and I was anxious to get back to playing in gym and I kept sneaking out of my sling early and now I feel like I have to crack my shoulder all the time. I regret it nearly every day, close to the point where I'd like to rebreak it in order to let it heal properly. Focus on healing properly because you'll hate yourself if you don't follow the doctor's orders to the T. Forget dairy, seriously. Eat salmon, eggs, kale, broccoli, spinach, berries, citrus fruit, asparagus and/or red meat like beef or pork for nearly every meal (despite the higher meal cost). These foods are very high in Calcium, vitamin C, vitamin K, and Lysine. Supplements and vitamins aren't a bad idea either, I'd personally prefer obtaining these from dietary means though. Vitamin K is most widely known for its role in preventing excessive bleeding. However, this vitamin also improves your body's ability to absorb and use calcium from food sources. Lysine is an amino acid that is necessary for proper metabolism and use of protein, which is a building block for cellular repair. Vitamin C is widely known for its ability to enhance immune system function, helping your body stave of, or resist or prevent, common colds, the flu and other infectious illnesses. However, this vitamin is also essential for efficient calcium use and bone repair. It also helps strengthen connective tissues and muscles that hold bones in place during healing. And obviously, calcium is a mineral that is necessary for repair and regeneration of bone cells. If you greatly increase your intake of these, you'll heal SIGNIFICANTLY stronger and faster, biohacking. :) And I'm talking like 20% faster, like it'll make a huge difference, trust me. Heal up bud!

Still better than a G0Z-1 ! Mend well, my friend! If you or your girlfriend are in the neighborhood of a health food store you might want to check out KNITBONE. (an Herb purported to have bone healing properties.)
