Please don't throw in the towel guys. Me and my mates love your videos and have been tempted many a time to buy some of the products you review. X

I have been seeing the new videos recommended but have not been watching recently because there hasn’t been anything interesting. I’m not really interested in international or lesser-known sweets or drinks, especially if they’re hard to find in the UK, or fusions, or... [whisper] frukunwrapped (sorry!) Love any vid of real food though — I still watched all the recent papa johns vids and anything else with a big brand, also I enjoy the supermarket outing videos for some strange reason. Can you look through your data and see what is popular and try to narrow the focus? Also perhaps try to add some more interesting aspects to the videos rather than just a review. I’d love if each video showed you hunting for the item in the store, buying it, then trying it at home or in the car with Claire. Look at the latest beardmeetsfood video — just driving around with his gf trying festive menu items — 130k views — *this* is interesting content and was an insta-watch for me. Don’t stop making the vids though — love the channel! Also the YouTube recommendations algorithm favors the patient!

I sincerely hope this is not the case :( you guys are by FAR my favorite UK channel to watch. Every other channel just does the same ol copy-and-paste "new McDonald's" items whereas y'all are more inclined to focus on the more interesting and obscure new snacks and foods that get my inner chef-y creative juices flowing. Being a Personal Chef over here in the States, I love to see all the weird flavor combinations that we never see and then hearing opinions of what surprisingly works and what really doesn't work at all. I'd have a huge hole in my heart if y'all were to disappear :( I wouldn't know where to turn to for my dosage of ALL the banter. If there's any little thing I can do to help the livelyhood of Food Review UK, don't hesitate to ask us! I'm sure plenty of others would be on board with me here as well on this 😃

hey don't give up. i would advise to just change things up like do more restaurant reviews with your 2 friends. do recipes and some healthier foods. also don't be nice about all the foods because they are sponsored. the channel feels more commercial now. the last vlog i watched was you just showing all the products you bought saying "this looks nice" and not even showing eating it which is a bit boring as i could go into tesco and just look at the products myself. you weren't tasting them and felt a bit lazy :) go back to basics and carry on doing it if you enjoy it. just vlog fun times with your friends. i want to keep watching you guys x

I've seen this post. But the last vid that's been in my feed was the pizza complaint update.

The Cookie Mill Xmas box video wasn't it you uploads list or my subs but a suggested video, I even went back to check and it still wasn't in your uploads 🤔

It would be a crying shame if FRUK was to go. I'm not sure what's happening, although hitting 25k is a great milestone.

Who keeps disliking MJs videos? Why bother clicking on the vid if you are just going to be negative?

Here's the deal. Your content scope is huge but the market is very saturated. It's hard to push on in something everyone is doing but the fact is I like your specific content. I like the feel of what you do now and it works. Grow the channel steady I guess...

noooo! fruk is literally the first place I come for an honest review I don't see why more people don't watch.

You're on the subs, but the dislikes on your vids will keep you put of the recommendations.

Dislikes don't harm your channel. It is irritating to know that a few only sub to instantly dislike your video, there must be some kind of hack or something because sometimes a video of mine is uploaded and has a dislike within seconds. Over the years I had had falls and rises. since 2010 the graph looks like a mountain line, the true things that matter is audience retention on the longest videos (over 10 mins) with views and engagement (like/dislike/comments) Sometimes it is disheartening when views go down but then there is always some video that you do that will seemingly just do greater. The only number that will bother me is 0. It the views are 0, the audience retention is 0, and engagement is 0, that is when I will stop YouTube... you on the other hand have done four times better in all the analytics so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Pretty sure our videos aren't getting shown to all subs anymore. Either that or just not getting suggested or something. Performance steadily declining the last few weeks. Looks like we've possibly run our course!
