#RunOn

What a nice drama it has been! Such a breath of fresh air in the genre.
Seon Gyeom & Mi Joo have my heart completely. Over the years it became hard for me to find a drama pairing to root for - most of the time I either don't get why they like each other or I don't see the relationships as functional. This one? One of the healthiest relationship I've EVER seen on the screen. Man, the COMMUNICATION! It's beautiful.
They both a written in a way that makes it believable to see them as individuals - they're so different and yet work together incredibly well. Why? Because they TALK TO EACH OTHER. They share, support and look for compromise. If this isn't the best way to portray romance - I don't know what is.

For the first half, I was sure this would my fav drama of the year. It had SO MANY things I enjoyed.
But oh well, we couldn't have it all. I had a disconnect with of the characters (the art student) and given how much screen time he took - it's seriously bummed my enjoyment. I completely didn't get the second pairing. Like, I can understand why Young Hwa liked Dan Ah - she's gorgeous, no doubt about it. But why would such an accomplished woman bother with an immature kid - beats me. The only explanation I can get is her being amused by his unpredictableness, but this is no recipe for a longlasting relationship. I liked how they went their separate way in the end, but I wish the writers didn't give us an implication that maybe they'd get back together. I don't see that working. At all. But hey, I wasn't gonna let one character ruin my whole experience, so for now, I rate it 9/10 (would probably lower the rating to 8 once the feelings cool off)
