I saw a Cavendish sprint train at work in about 2012, he won of course, and afterwards I asked him for a picture but my dad didn’t press the button on the camera hard enough so I didn’t get it. Didn’t find it funny at the time but i do now.

Cav is a textbook sprinter and as much credit as we give his lead out, it would be all for nothing if he didn’t have the strength, ability and race intelligence to maximize his teams utility to him and make no mistakes in the final run in to the line.
