It was the removal of Wilderness back in 2007 that split the community. It never really became the same anymore.

I think RuneScape will always hold a special place in my heart, in regards to games anyway. So many great memories

I haven’t played this game in probally 15 years, but I love the content. It’s crazy to see the game expand over many years. I just wish it wasn’t such a grind or I’d get into it lmao.

Osrs forever baby!! I’m a veteran player of 15 years all the way back to 05 Iv seen it all and was even one of the unfortunate people to die in the fally massacre back in 06 although it was a different time then and I barley had a whip that I had cashed in my whole banks worth to get.

Remember what Blizzard once said about releasing an old version of a game? “You think you do, but you don’t” Well, people clearly do know what they want. An old version of a game is what can save it.

Remember over 10 years ago when everyone said Runescape was dying. Today OSRS just hit a new record for the most amount of players online, 170K! This game is going no where.
