Old set up was a pre-built HP Omen 30L with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an Nvidia GTX 1660 Super. Which is fine for 1080p. Until I wanted to go to up to 1440p after getting a killer 1440p monitor.
I upgraded RAM from 16GB to 32GB, PSU from 550W to 750W, and GPU from the 1660 Super to a 3070 Ti. But I was less than thrilled about the thermal performance of the case and CPU cooler.
So...
I got a new case (NZXT H510i), motherboard (Asus ROG Strix B550 F), CPU (Ryzen 5 5600X), CPU cooler (Corsair H60), and some extra 120mm fans. I took apart the old PC and assembled the new PC.
My 3070 Ti GPU runs my primary monitor/games and stream encoding. My 1660 Super runs the secondary monitor for doing stuff while gaming without impacting performance. Amazing set up, absolutely love it!
