Bass. I remember I saw someone say that the bass is like eyebrows. You don’t realize how important it is until it’s gone

I don’t know how to play a glockenspiel, but it was the most interesting choice.

Glockenspiel is close second. I mean, who doesn't play "air glockenspiel" to Everyday by Buddy Holly? 😄

If it was a "World Famous" band, and I was in it, I'd definitely go for the glockenspiel! (1) The band is already famous, so playing an unusual instrument wouldn't hurt the band's reputation. (2) If I'm in the band, the other members must figure that there's a good reason for me being there, so playing an unusual instrument wouldn't be a problem for my bandmates, either. (3) I can already play the other instruments on the list of options, and so can everybody else in every other band. And since I'm always keen on broadening my horizons, I'd just have to learn to jam like fuck on a damn glockenspiel! The band would become even more famous, my bandmates would love and respect me even more, and I'd be the first dude in the history of Rock 'n' Roll to get laid like a sumbitch for playing a goddamn glockenspiel!

I am in a rock and roll band! We’re just not famous yet lol. We’re called Lunde and we’re heavily influenced by the sounds of the 60s and 70s. Be sure to check out our album Living Strange on streaming services

I’m a drummer but I’ve played keyboards in a band too. The funny thing is I’d like to play bass and used to play it on a couple easy numbers. Call me a wimp, but I don’t have the finger discipline/pain threshold to get over playing guitar. Those tiny strings “cut” and the hand positions hurt. I’ve tried to learn a few times but gave it up. I don’t know how my guitarist friends do it.

I do play a bit of bass, always wanted to back Clapton and play like a cross between Mark King and John Entwistle. In the end, Clapton for some reason, seemed happy enough with Nathan East! Probably because I actually play like a cross between Stan Laurel and The Venus DiMilo!!! 🤓🤓
