Does anyone ever complain about lack of white faces in a gospel choir? Groups of people must sit around trawling through the media trying to find something to be offended about.

I'm black and I have no problem with the choir or carol service. It looks exactly how I would expect a service to look like in Britain. Don't understand the animosity towards the indigenous British people. I'm sure the carol concerts in Kenya, Malawi and Nigeria weren't racially diverse

It's their culture. I understand the importance of integrating migrants including through positive representation in media, but trying to enforce that through social shame is the wrong way. I truly believe that the migrant population must always be given the opportunity to prove their value, but the majority native ethnic groups will always have preference and enhanced visibility compared to others. It's just human nature.

Thanks to MSM, big business and movements such as BLM, we are now expected to see and evaluate a person depending upon heir skin colour and ethnic background. White is bad, black is good, why can't people just be people judged by what they do and not what they are.

The media simply wants to create division to not only sell papers but create a stir. It’s easy news, requires no talent yet offers profit. It’s sad to see as I’m sure the gifted reporters get very little look in as their articles aren’t so profitable. A beautiful choir, fantastically talented at a time that I hope will bring us all closer together. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

There is not a problem, it's just some people trying to create a problem. The same with Land of Hope and Glory not being done at the proms, the song is a sing-a-long that you do with the crowd that are there and that makes it feel special. There was no crowd there to do the sing-a-long, so some one said lets drop it this year until we get the crowds back. The outrage is done to distract you from other problems you shoud be getting upset about, that those in power don't want you to notice. So they make up a story and create faux outrage.

Guess they’re expected to bus minorities in? Not sure how they do choirs now, but when I sang in my church choir I had to do a small audition (to make sure I wasn’t tone deaf I assume). If minority children aren’t trying to join, you can’t have minority members!
