No matter if it's once a month or once a decade, I'll continue to be thrilled whenever you upload! YouTube recommend that I watch Shlock awhile back and I've been addicted since. It gives me a much needed laugh break in my stressful shitty day. Thank you Numberer 1 and keep it up :)

I agree that Shlock is one of your best works, I really love the effort put in, even into the freaking captions. And obviously making YTP's with decent jokes and editing takes time, and even more time when you help edit a multi-million subscribed channel that posts fairly consistently and have a life of your own. Summary: Shlock was one of your best YTP's and just keep doing you

Your videos are by far the funniest things on YouTube. Or at least from what I can find. It's obvious you put an immense amount of passion into your videos, which makes them stand out from most other YTPs. While others add jarring edits that ruin the flow of the video, you instead basically make a parody that tells it's own story and flows really well. I hope you are able to make some more YTPs, because they always brighten up my day. Thank you, Numberer1.

I've rewatched your Shlock videos more times than is probably healthy, but they never stop being hilarious to me. The distorted Muffin Man intro in the Season 2 compilation absolutely destroyed my sides.

Me and my friends have watched Shlock so many times over the past years (and actually meet up every time you upload) that we actually reference it at least once a week (morioriorty... Ah) just wanted to say thanks for the amazing laughs you've brought us! + Wait what you edit for Game Theory!? Since when? :o

I actually always get hyped up and click your vids as soon as I see a new one uploaded, because I know the YTP's are gonna be really good. You are actually one of the only channels I recommend to all my friends and show your videos to them. You are in my opinion the best YTP'er, keep it up and I love your videos!

Whenever I'm having a panic attack or a dumb depression swoop, I watch your videos, shlock especially. They calm my head and allow me to relax and enjoy something for a while.

You are my favorite YTPer, a huge inspiration to me, and I'm sure others as well. Just know as your fanbase we'll support your decisions no matter what they are and want you to stay as healthy and mentally stable as possible :)

You've been my favourite YTPer since around the time I first saw Zoodystopia, and I think you're still my favourite kinda in part because it's your hobby. Every single video you release feels special, it feels like a distinct piece of art that wasn't compromised by a sense of needing to feed the Algorithm. You're one of the only creators on this site that I'd drop everything for to watch your newest upload. No matter what it is, even if it's on a film I couldn't give two shits about or a source I've seen a million times before, I know you'll make it special. You've never disappointed, and I don't think you ever will.

I remember finding your vids back in 2012, and I always like to go back to watch Icekaar from Osland, or the Shlock videos. Keep doing what you're doing, because it's a treat anytime I see a new upload from you <3

I’m not gonna watch Frozen 2 until I see Colder so the context makes even less sense and in turn more hilarious

I think you're very talented, and that's no sarcasm. You're very funny and there's a great numberer of your YTP's that are among the best in quality on the whole platform. Also from some of your video's descriptions and this post, you seem to be quite an humble person. You're really, like really funny and you're very good at editing, keep on the good work buddy.

Well, it finally happened...200,000 subscribers. That is just an absurd amount of people, and this milestone completely caught me by surprise. Thank you to the 4% of those who actually watch the stuff, and the remaining 96% who subscribed that one time but completely forgot cause I upload once every few decades.
I've been on this website for over 12 years now; watched it develop from a simple video hosting site, to a bastion of creative greatness where creators blossomed...and now into the corporate capitalist cesspool that it has become. When I made this dumb channel back in '07, I did not expect it would go anywhere at all...it was just a personal channel to watch dumb stuff (hell, it still is).
Then Cold happened...which I still have a soft spot for, but dear lord it's so terrible. YouTube (well, technically me but mostly YouTube) screwed up the audio and somehow made it worse, but it's still getting views for some reason. But Cold isn't my true 'flagship' series...Shlock definitely is. They've been the strangest, yet most satisfying videos to make, and I love that people appreciate the ridiculous amount of work that goes into each scene. Plus the understanding that I try to double my efforts on each sequel (which is why the next one is a long, long way away) is very much appreciated.
I wish I had more time for this channel. I wish I could make consistent videos on a regular basis, without having to worry about money, or time, or taxes, or any of the crappy adult stuff that I'm forced to focus on instead of fulfilling things. I wish I could've interacted more with you all, created a true community, met in real life....all that good stuff. But there's no point in dwelling...I am extremely grateful for each and every one of you. Yes, even the guy who keeps asking for a Cat in the Hat YTP.
But I'm glad where we are now. I'm making YTPs as a hobby, and it feels much more fulfilling than if I were making them on a deadline to sustain myself. I tried that with Patreon, and that didn't work for multiple reasons. Although I still wouldn't be against running this channel for a living, but I'd need some sort of disposable income...and living in Melbourne with a freelance job does not provide such luxuries. That's still a dream that I know won't come true, but I can still imagine...oh man, just think if I could make a 5+ min YTP each week...if only...
Nevertheless, thank you again for sticking with me for so long. I don't know where this channel will go from here, but I'm humbled to see how far we've come.
I'm aiming to release the Joker YTP soon, followed by the big one: COLDER. I'll be waiting for the 4K release cause this one's gonna be big...and it'll also double as our 200k celebration! Then hopefully a familiar (liquified) face in April...aaaand whatever happens after that. Don't wanna schedule anything cause then it becomes stressful...but stuff will release whenever it's done.
Thanks everyone.

As for everything else...I've been editing Game Theory videos for almost 5 years now (even the new intro!). I've been trying to develop a much more personal channel in my limited spare time too, but motivation has been fleeting and - since it's a passion project - it's changed so much over years that I don't even know if it'll ever come to light (not to mention my limited spare time). The state of YouTube and the DOWNWARD SPIRAL that it's currently in is extremely demotivating too, and I'm constantly worried that this channel will just disappear. Sadly, there will come a day when I stop making YTPs...but they'll always be a part of me and my work. Can't wait to see what the future holds.
