He's singing with angels now. God bless him. Is it possible little girls have a crush on a boy? He was mine on Rifleman. I was 6 and so excited he sang Cindy's Birthday. Thought he was singing to me. Mom didn't correct me, she knew it was important to let me think so. There are you tube videos of him before dementia totally rendered him unable. Precious! Thanks for the post.

Sorry for an unrelated question... I noticed that comments have been disabled under your Gentrys "Keep on Dancing" video. I know they used to be enabled and I enjoy reading through them. May I ask what prompted blocking comments? Even if you want no new comments I find there is a lot to learn from the existing comments, e.g. info about the performers and the music. Thanks for posting so many great videos! Kind regards, John

What you should do is remove the giant watermark from an important lost media. Don't be so greedy.

RIP Johnny Crawford (1946-2021), co-star of “The Rifleman” and a former Mouseketeer. Johnny appeared on American Bandstand 3 times - Jan. 31, 1962 to promote “The Rifleman”, July 18, 1962 to guest host and to promote his singing career by performing his single “Cindy’s Birthday” and March 7, 1964 to perform his single “Sandy”. I believe this picture is from his first appearance on January 31, 1962.
