The Pot Thickens

Good morning everyone. I wanted to share my pasta al pomodoro that I made recently. It is a simple summer fresh tomato sauce made by sautéing some onion and garlic in good olive oil and then blistering down some cherry tomatoes. Add the al dente pasta and a bit of the pasta water and cook until it is creamy and delicious. Finish with fresh basil. It is simple and so delicious. Maybe this would be a good dish to do a live cook along with? What do you think? Would you cook this along with me?

Made this tonight for my wife with fettuccini noodles and she loved it. I then made a 2nd batch for me with no oil and using spaghetti squash; it was a great tasting dish. Thank you!!

Hi! As an Italian I’m really liking this!! However, we normally use “pasta al pomodoro” when we mean pasta with tomato sauce; this very dish we would call “pasta con pomodorini”, which literally means “pasta with small tomatoes”! Lot’s of love and keep up!
