So what is with all the remixes? I was asked earlier on a video if I was ever going back to reactions and it made me realize that I have gone rogue but haven't explained anything to anyone, so here we go....
Right now I am just feeling out some new stuff. The reactions take a toll with copyrights, the views really vary depending on how popular the song is, etc. In other words, all the views are based on how popular a band or song is, and I like to introduce people to the more obscure great stuff, yet, when I introduce a song that I truly love and I am passionate about, but the song was not top of the charts, no one watches, so what I wanted to accomplish with reactions doesn't seem to be working. I really don't care to watch, react, and listen to songs that everyone has heard a trillion times, just trying something new trying to figure things out. It wears me out to put a video together for a GREAT song that I love and want to share, but since it isn't AC/DC or Pink Floyd, no one cares. That seems to be my hang up I am sorting through right now. I started this channel to introduce great music that many/most might not have heard and/or forgot about, essentially great but more obscure music, but no one seems to care, so it really broke me down and I started to feel like I was selling out and putting out music only the masses would want to see, and I stopped caring as much, and eventually didn't care at all, so my family knew I wanted to try to start mixing, so I got the board for Christmas, love learning and what I am attempting to do, taking old music and adding new flare, and so far, this is the only thing that has brought my passion to the channel back. So to answer your question, more reactions, maybe, but I am not 100% yet as my original passion for the channel with the original format has been deflated quite a bit. BUT....this might be what comes next. I have a Patreon Channel that is $1 a month that I might keep all my reactions on and move to remixing the classics on the primary channel, I don't know yet, but just tossing around ideas. I don't think a lot of people realize how much goes into making these videos and keeping the channel fresh for new and existing subs, and when the passion for what you are doing becomes deflated and or beat down because it isn't working, it makes you really step back and re-evaluate what you are doing.
