I would like to thank everyone for the kind,
Accepting, supportive messages and comments in the past 24 hours. I am not proud of who I once was at times, something we can all relate on. When I talk about sobriety it never acts as an excuse but an example of how I take accountability for change every single day. Every single day I say no to having a drink because I know the person I become when under the influence is unacceptable. Almost 3 years later I have apologised to myself for the hurt I caused many people, from all genders, races and sexualitie. It often felt like I hate everyone and the world when drunk despite that not being who I truly was. I am not that person anymore despite a handful of bullies wanting to pigeon hole me as that. Since the video was released they have, as predicted, attacked not only me directly referring to me as a ‘coke head’, they have targeted brands, publications and friends of mine referring to me as a racist threatening them. All compiled as evidence which sadly I presume they aren’t intelligent enough to understand. Thank you all for the support, we do not and I do not sit for trolls!
