On the Subaru you did the oil pan gasket on you can also take off the shield for the lines just behind the oil pan. There will be 2 holes you can easily get the last 2 back bolts out without having to losen the motor mounts and lift the motor.

Hey Brian. I would like to know if driving a 2010 Outback without the rear shaft connected to the rear diff will damage the CVT clutch system. The shaft has a bad rear u-joint which is non- serviceable so I cut the shaft in two and bolted the front half back into the car to prevent fluid loss. Looking forward to your response as I’ve come to your channel many times to see your awesome how to videos while working on several different Subies over the years.

I wish you could do some videos on changing the rear transaxle on a 5-speed Subaru and/or the seals.

@9898flipper

Just found your videos and love them. Just watched the Dodge Throttle body replacement, and feel I may be able to do it myself now. Can you recommend a way to test if it is indeed the throttle body, or just the TPS? Appreciate any feedback! Thanks again!
