I DO have notifications turned on and I did NOT get a notification, but this thumbnail DID show up in my subscriptions when I went in to look for new videos tonight.

Thank you all for your responses. Seems our suspicions are correct. Many subscribers don’t get notifications when they have them turned on or even get unsubscribed randomly. 🙄

Yes & yes. YouTube is extremely glitchy. I've noticed that if I watch a channel, then it shows up. If I've not seen a video from a channel for a while, they don't show in the recommended or sub feed. Also I can watch ONE video of a certain topic (like how to make a duct tape wallet), and MAJOR mistake. That is all that will show in my recommended feed. It's annoying. I do not like having my viewing habits monitored. Grrrrr.

Yes, I have notifications turned on. No, I was not notified. Yes, this thumbnail appeared in my subscription feed.

Yes i have notifications turned on for you guys. I got the notification and it shows in my sub feed :) love the way guys share your triumphs and fails. We are on the same the road, and its so nice to have someone show us both sides!

Yes & no. Always check my subs whether it notifies me or not, some don't always show up.

Yes, to notifications, but I didn't receive a notification for this one. Saw you had a new video in the sidebar of my subscriptions. Thumbnail showed up only after I clicked on your channel.

Yes, however I have to actually go in to YouTube to get my notifications and it doesn’t go through to email. I check in to YouTube regularly when it suits me to watch 😊

I do not use notifications. I check subscriptions a couple of times a day. Never miss any of your videos and have never had any problems with you tube as a subscriber.

Yes to both questions. Sometimes I have a delay, where I will get the notification, but the video doesn't show up in my feed for 4 to 12 hours.
